Stitch marker extravaganza!!!

Wow, I’m on a stitch marker making spree! Since I last posted, I’ve been simply churning out stitch markers. I think this is in part because it’s simply too hot to knit. Seriously. I have my Swappy Scrappy Scarf sitting right on my kitchen table, and every day I look and it and think, “huh, I should knit some more of that” and then I scrunch of my face and go make markers instead. Since I haven’t been in the mood to work with wool, working with cool hard metal seems infinitely more pleasing to my fingers. Anyways, this is going to be a picture heavy post, because I simply want to show off some the beauties I’ve made recently. As always, you can check out more of my work in my Etsy shop, Exchanging Fire, or click on the photo of the stitch markers you like to follow the link to that particular listing.

Daughters of the Water
“My sons and daughters of the water, Hide between the gnarled branches, Of our family tree that's come, To rest amongst the creeping beasts, That watch us from the bog, We all call home.” ~ Doctor Who, Vampires of Venice

The Deepest Blue
“A very great vision is needed and the man who has it must follow it as the eagle seeks the deepest blue of the sky.” ~ Crazy Horse

Cherries of the Night
“In the cherry pluckt at night, With the dew of summer swelling, There's a juice of pure delight, Cool, dark, sweet, divinely smelling.

The Emotional Inhibitor
“Heart of steel with a central nervous system. Oh, but look! The emotional inhibitor. Stops them feeling anything. It still has a human brain. Imagine its reaction if it could see itself, realize itself, inside this thing. It would go insane.” ~ The Doctor in Doctor Who, The Age of Steel

Give Lucy A Jumper
“Rory! That's a relief. I thought I'd burst out of the wrong cake. Again. That reminds me, there's a girl outside in a bikini. Could someone let her in, give her a jumper? Lucy. Lovely girl. Diabetic.” ~ The Doctor in Doctor Who, Vampires of Venice

As Fierce As The Forest
“The mountains, the forest, and the sea, render men savage; they develop the fierce, but yet do not destroy the human.” ~ Victor Hugo

Aw, thanks Denise for the compliments! I actually use a really old, really crappy camera – well, it can’t be that crappy since I get such nice photos from it, but anyways – so I really think it’s the lighting and angles that make the shots good. You take fabulous photos too!
